Why “normal” isn’t always optimal
In countries like Australia, serious nutrient deficiencies are rare — but that doesn’t mean we’re well-nourished. Many people fall short on key nutrients like iron, vitamin D, and magnesium, even with a “healthy” diet.
You can be well-fed but undernourished.
Thriving means focusing on nutrient density, not just calories, especially for groups with higher needs, like women, children, and older adults.
